Associate Lawyer (1 – 3 years)

Rudner Law is an award-winning Employment Law firm providing strategic advice to employers and employees regarding all aspects of the employment relationship, including representation before courts, mediators and tribunals. We are seeking a Junior Associate to become a part of our virtual team!


  • Prepare and draft legal documents including contracts, demand letters, pleadings, handbooks
  • Conduct initial meetings with clients
  • Advise employee and employer clients
  • Manage files independently
  • Comply with all legal standards and regulations
  • Perform administrative and management functions related to the practice of law
  • Conduct legal research
  • Attend or assist with court and tribunal hearings
  • Write blogs and other articles
  • Prepare slide decks and materials for presentations and conferences


  • LL.B or JD
  • Member in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario
  • Excellent interpersonal and client service skills
  • Experience handling files from beginning to end
  • Critical thinker and creative problem solver
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • As this is a remote role, you must have dedicated office space and secure, reliable internet connection
