Resolving Disputes with Workplace Mediation

October 19, 2023 @ 2:00 pm - 3:30 pm EDT

Conflict at work can tremendously impact morale, performance, and retention. Whether between colleagues or a manager and subordinate, internal conflict must be addressed and not left to fester.

In some cases, professional assistance is needed to create (or restore) a work environment where everyone can thrive. In other situations, the employer-employee relationship is over, but an ongoing dispute may result in litigation, such as a wrongful dismissal claim.

When the solution to a conflict is unclear or contentious, workplace mediation with a neutral third party can be an efficient and cost-effective way to resolve the dispute. The mediation process can be tailored for the specific case rather than using a “one size fits all” approach, as our courts do. Bring disputes to an equitable conclusion by way of judgment or negotiated settlement.

Guest speaker Stuart Rudner is an experienced lawyer and mediator, and he will discuss the different types of dispute resolution available to employers, both for ongoing workplace relationships and disputes between individuals and their former employers.

Join us for this 90-minute live webinar where we discuss resolving workplace disputes such as:

  • Discrimination
  • Harassment and bullying
  • Wrongful dismissal
